Breaking chains

Since the last update a few things have happened.


My other job's done, not fired but it looks like I won't be re-hired. My fault, I can't wake up early enough.

I won't miss it though, while it was interesting I'd rather be doing other things. ^ ^


My best friend went overseas to study. Never thought about it until another friend mentioned it but yeah, best friend. =) Met him about a year and a half ago, and it's been almost a constant stream of laughs ever since.

It was unexpected. We bumped into each other when he was looking for another friend and we ended talking about drawing. We both draw, but he's way more prolific. And we were always envious of each others' accomplishments in drawing. =) Anyway I know you'll see this sooner or later so; don't ever stop drawing! =)


I've managed to accumulate enough to pay back my student loan. It's actually a small amount as far as tuition fees go, but I can say I did it mostly by myself (I was short a bit but I did have enough leftover savings to cover it). Used up almost every bit of cash I managed to squirrel away over the past few years.

I would've felt it a major accomplishment if my father hadn't ruin the moment by finding out at the eleventh hour and reimbursing me. ^ ^ I guess I still have some ways to go before I can truly be independent. =/
