*Creeeeeeaaaaak!*
That would be the sound of the brain. Mine actually. Stretching into writing configuration again. You could probably guess how long it's been since it last worked this way.
Trying to be funny aside (emphasis on the first word), I think I've had an epiphany a short while ago. Too bad it's only in regards with what I want to do. For a living, a career.
So what do I want to do?
Read.
Write.
Draw.
I happen to like doing these things too.
I've been doing these off and on for so long (except for reading where it's been mostly on) that I hadn't considered them as things I'd want to do for a living (Well, I have thought of being a writer but I think not as seriously as I am now.)
There is a concern about if it's wise to do what I like for a living, least I stop liking them. But then again these don't necessarily have to be the only things I have to do for a living. Nor am I limited to only liking to do these things either.
That was the hard part.
The next step is relatively easy, finding a job that involves reading, writing and/or drawing. Of course relatively easy does not mean easy. I still got to get such a job.
Then there's the next step.
Succeeding. That probably goes back up to hard. Possibly much harder than step one.
Well, at the very least I now have a direction.
...I need a map now.
Possibly a push too.
Oh, and Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it. =)
